Yesterday's dance lesson was quite ok, not so tough.
I slacked, did only like 200+ sit-ups instead of 300.
Was feeling lethargic throughout the session.
My movements were quite retarded as a result.
Couldn't execute the fast movements. Lols.
Saw Venie and BK doing the 双人舞.
OMG! Am I supposed to do that with D*****?
Wonder if he is strong enough to support me, if not I surely die. Hahas.

At least I managed to finish my Amaths and one of the chem elearn assignments today.

Okay, about the Yunnan trip.

The trip was really a whole new experience for me - 1st time overseas without parents, the extreme cold weather, high altitude, travelling with pple from other schools, interacting with China students....

Made alot of new friends, from JJC and CDSS.
Miss them alot :)

Some of us were chosen to be 'shadows' and I really appreciate the guidance given to me by Chengyi and Jessica, both from JJC. =)

Really enjoyed the nights when we would gather in one of the rooms to chat, eat, watch tv blahblahblah.... A lot of funny things happened and I am not telling. =X

Anyway, thanks everyone for making this trip a very memorable and enjoyable one. Really hope to see you peeps again!

Finally, I'm done with my online assignments.

Leaving for the airport tonight.
Taking an early flight to Yunnan.
We'll be joining pple from JJC and Chestnut Drive Sec.

Heard that the weather in Yunnan will be damn cold.
Temperature ranges from -7 C to 19 C.
One of the places that we will be visiting is like 4000m above sea level.
Argh.....hope we don't get high altitude sickness.

My big luggage bag is fully stuffed now and there're still some items I haven't packed in yet. Lols.

This morning, together with Mdm V Chew, Mr Tan KK, Yihui and the RWS, went to Concord Pri Sch (my alma mater!) to promote our school.

Mdm Chew and Mr Tan were so impressed and fascinated by what they saw. Lols.

I would say there're not much changes in the school.
It's still the same as 3 years' back, clean and beautiful.
I particularly miss the cactus garden, poisonous plant garden and frog pond. Haha.

Saw some of the teachers who had taught me before and we spoke to the principal, Mrs Dass.
She asked us to visit the school more often. XDD

Yihui and I went to survey the canteen.
The food is still as cheap.
60 cents for a bowl of noodles and 30 cents for a cup of drink.
OMG!

The pupils painted an elephant in the toilet. Gosh!


Pupils are always reminded of the school values as these are prominently displayed around the school. Lol.

HAPPIE BIRTHDAY TO ROYCEEEEEEEE! ;DD

Hahahhhs.
Went for the parents' briefing on the Yunnan trip in school with mum.
Then lunch-ed @ Jurong Point with friends before heading to JJC.

Learned some cheers, sang some songs, played some games & did some dances at JJC.
The JJ students are so spontaneous! xD

Did friendship bands on the way home.
We were supposed to make them for the Yunnan students (i think).

Rested at home for an hour(?).
So tired...

Beijing- Massive downpours in a mountainous region of southwest China have killed 22 people - many buried in landslides - leaving 45 missing and damaging thousands of homes, the government said on Monday.

Rains that have drenched Yunnan province since October 24 have triggered a series of landslides in the region, which borders on the Himalayas, affecting up to 410 000 people, the provincial government said on its website.

In the hardest hit area of Chuxiong prefecture, 16 people were confirmed dead and 38 missing while up to 25 000 people in the area's six counties were evacuated as of Sunday night, it said

More than 1 000 homes have collapsed and some 2 300 others were damaged in the mud and rock slides, with rescue teams and local officials frantically seeking to ascertain the exact number of dead and missing.

Roads, electricity and telecommunications have all been disrupted, while outlying regions have reported damage to schools and medical clinics.

With more rain forecast for the coming two days, rescue efforts will likely face continued difficulties, the government said.

The torrential rains have also hit the provincial capital of Kunming, where four people were reported dead and 1 000 people have been evacuated, it added. The two other fatalities occurred in Lincang city.

Yunnan sits just to the south of Sichuan province, where an 8.0-magnitude earthquake left more than 87 000 people dead or missing in May this year.

Meeting with JJC peeps at our sch's AVA room in the morning.
They were late for 1 hour coz they couldn't locate our sch. Lols.
Practised mass dance.
The mass dance was the same one we did during the last JJC camp.

Went Pizza Hut to celebrate Huixuan's birthday in the evening.
