Career Day at RP last Friday.
Most of the talks were boring, except the one by JJC.

After that cabbed down to NUS-UCC with Ms Chiang and dance peeps.
It was full-dressed rehearsal right away when we reached there.
We didn't even have time to change into our costumes D:
It certainly looked weird dancing in our school uniforms. Lol.

The lst rehearsal which ended around 3.45pm was then followed by a frenzy of activites (make-up, changing into costumes, hair-styling blah3) cause we were told that the next full-dressed rehearsal would start at 4pm -.-"
To make things worse.....
Our holding area was at the basement of another block, while some other schools had theirs just outside the theatre(backstage). LOL

As a result of the rushing, we didn't have sufficient/proper time to have our lunch and dinner.
We only had small bites of our food in between breaks.

Anyway, the performance went well (even without the props)

Bus-ed home after the concert ended at around 10pm.

As soon as I reached home, I gulped down two cups of iced milo.
Was feeling freaking thirsty and hungry, but no appetite to eat =.=
By the time I hit the sack, it was 12.30am.

Woke up at 11.30am the next day (Saturday).
Had breakfast, watched tv, did chem homework, then had a short afternoon nap.
Didn't do much for the rest of the day.

Nothing much to post about today.
Ballet lesson as usual.



Regent Olympics Day at CCAB today was awesome!
Really had fun trying out the different sports and games.
And for the first time in my life I tried my hand at table tennis. Lols.





Today's rehearsal at NUS was an absolute waste of time and energy.
We were all totally pissed off, so was Zhao laoshi.
Zhao laoshi tried to reason with the staff there but to no avail.

The theatre we're going to perform in this time is different from the one during SYF.
The stage is a bit smaller, so we've to do away with the props.
Each school was allocated a different holding area and given 25 minutes to practise.
Our holding area was at basement 2 of the building.
When the staff informed us that it was our turn, we immediately proceeded to the theatre.
After some lighting adjustments by the technicians there, the person-in-charge told us that we've 15 mins left. Before we even started rehearsing!!! WTH!!!
And just when we started rehearsing, the person-in-charge allowed another school to barge in (!!!!!) which was such a distraction to us.
The next school should be waiting outside and only enter until we had exited the theatre.
We were then told that time's up after around 7 mins(?) of practice.
Ohkay dont want to elaborate further.

I seriously do not know how we're going to survive in that hot and stuffy holding room at basement 2 of the building tomorrow.
The air-con in that room was far worse than my house fan.=.=



Today

Prefects' investiture.
Only the sec 3s attended the ceremony.
It was a melancholy moment when the montage was screened.
The memories just came flooding back.
After the official handover ceremony, the sec 4s changed into our last camp tee and performed a mass dance.
Then we changed back into our uniforms again to snap pictures of us throwing the blazers. Lol.
Memorable day indeed.

Tomorrow

Regent Olympic Games Day.
The whole school has to report at CCAB (Evans Rd) by 7.30am.
If I'm not wrong, the journey there will take at least an hour(?), whether by bus or train.=.=
After the event, it'll be off to NUS for dance rehearsal till 3.30pm.

Friday

Careers Day at Republic Polytechnic for sec 4s & 5s from 7.30am to 1.45pm.
Understand that there'll also be talks by other polys and jcs.
Then from RP, dance peeps will head straight to NUS for CW6 Dance Nite which will end at 10pm.
And yes, we're performing our SYF dance.



This year's prefects' investiture.
According to instruction, only one level can be invited to witness the ceremony.
Such a disappointment.
Our batch is seriously the most unlucky of all.

Dance - supposed to have stepped down, but then still have to go for 3 more performances =.=
First one is on this Friday at NUS.

With Carmen at East Coast yesterday~





Had a great time at Alaine's place today.
She booked the KTV and Billiard Room.
We watched movie, played card games, the guys played billiard, chatted, blahblahblah....
And Alaine's mum bought nasi lemak and drinks for all of us. So nice of her.
We = Alaine, Abigail, Aijia, Darren, HuiXuan, Joscelin, JunKang, KaiLer, Vicdario and me.

It seems like we only have this weekend to relax, after which, we'll have to start preparing for the coming Chinese 'O' level paper. It's going to come pretty fast. 2 more weeks! OMG!



Went for movie this afternoon after our last paper(:
Watched Angels and Demons with Darren, Alaine, Vicdario, Abigail, KaiLer, Aijia, ZhiKang, Karen, JunKang & BingKang.

EXAMS ARE OVER! (:



Really don't know what to blog about. Lols.
Exam is still on, so needless to say, weekends will be spent on mugging, mugging and more mugging.
Last week's papers were quite ok, although some were real killers, like MT Compre and Amaths.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Now left with 4 more papers to go....Emaths P2, Amaths P2, Physics P1 & P2 and Combined Humanities (Geog).
My wrist is aching now, probably due to all the essay writing during exam.
Haha.
&& I'm so in the mood of playing the piano these 2 days. :)



Exam starts tomorrow.
